It is still speculated when rock star 'GTA VI' will officially announce, as there are only wild theories so far. The former rock star employee and producer Darion Lowenstein now provides a possible clue.
Lowenstein is considered a veteran in the industry and has worked for Rockstar, EA and Activision, among others. In a current conference with the research company Jeffries, Lowenstein was able to conclude that the announcement was not expected too soon.
Rockstar therefore works towards quality and not to come to hell on deadlines to meet. The best possible scenario for a GTA VI release is therefore at Christmas 2021.
“As a former Rockstar employee, Darion found that the Houser brothers focused on game quality rather than on time. His absolute best-case scenario for a game release is Holiday 2021, with no announcement / trailer expected soon. We have seen online rumors and heard speculation that a trailer could be shown next month, but Darion's opinion is that investors / gamers will have to wait longer. ”
If you look at previous lead times at Rockstar, from the announcement to the release, you won't hear anything about GTA VI until the end of the year. There are also possible shifts, with which a release would only be conceivable in 2022.
