The director of the new galactic installment of Marvel Studios shares the first details of the film and advances key points; no release date yet.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the third part of the adventures of the group of galactic superheroes from Marvel Studios, continues to heat engines at the hands of its director James Gunn, a filmmaker who in recent hours has shared the first official details of a film It does not have a specific release date yet, although it should arrive sometime in 2022, perhaps later that year if we take into account the already confirmed premieres of Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2.

One of the first questions he answered is if someone will die in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3; and the answer is "yes", although he evidently offered no clue as to what character he may be. To all this he added that he does not expect to make a hypothetical fourth part, with which the joint history of the galactic group of Marvel Studios could come to an end with this film.
On the other hand, Peter Quill will continue to have a prominent role in the film with Kraglin; As a curiosity, Gunn claims to know nothing of an Alpha Groot, the supposed version of the character that we will see in Thor: Love and Thunder and that Vin Diesel recently advanced in an interview, an actor who voices the character.
Lastly, he affirms that Yondu will not return to the franchise and that at the moment he has no plans to continue working on other Marvel Studios films, so his previous role as a showrunner from the company's galactic side would be ruled out after his dismissal and subsequent return for this third part. He also believes Thanos should not return to UCM as there are so many other stories to tell from the comics.
