Gwen Lagrue has been confirmed as the new director of Red Bull’s junior driver programme, a move that former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner described as “a very good hire” for what the driver‑development system needs after Helmut Marko’s departure.

Lagrue leaves Mercedes, where he spent over a decade scouting and nurturing future race‑stars. His work has already seen drivers such as George Russell and championship leader Kimi Antonelli move into Formula 1.
