Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Support is discontinued on PS4 & Xbox One

Playfront

Surprisingly, CD Project has announced the demise of Gwent – The Witcher Card Game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although the game has not been around for so long.

The reason for this is that you can not support so many platforms at the same time and in the future, therefore, focus on the PC and mobile that are most successful. His progress can however be transferred to GOG. It says here:

"Considering the fact that PC and Mobile are the most popular platforms for GWENT players, we made a difficult decision: Support for console versions of the game is discontinued. All GWENT console players are offered the option to copy their account balance and purchases from their current platform to a GOG account that is used by both PC and mobile versions of the game. "

How exactly the transfer works, which starts on the 9th of December, will be explained on the official homepage.
