Halo Co-Creator's New Disintegration Features Release Date And Trailer

This science fiction video game combines first-person action with the genre of strategy.

Private Division and V1 Interactive have announced that Disintegration, the next video game by Marcus Lehto – creator of Halo – will be available from June 16 in digital format. It is planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam) and will come out at 49.99 euros. It is a science fiction shooter designed by a team of 30 professionals under the leadership of Lehto himself. At FreeGameTips, we've already had a chance to try it out.

Pre-orders have already been opened and include some additional multiplayer aesthetic incentives, including the Lost Ronins' Midnight team look, the Pull Muscle gesture, and the Breakdown medal for gravices. As if that were not enough, those who book the product will also get an exclusive player animated banner depending on the platform chosen.

History, an important part of Disintegration

"I've always told stories using in-game elements and at Disintegration I wanted to create a compelling narrative based on mechanics that had never been used before," explains Marcus Lehto, President and Game Director of V1 Interactive. “I have in my DNA to create charismatic characters and rich universes that go beyond the experience offered by the typical first person shooter. I am very excited that the players are going to enjoy that world soon ”.

Disintegration embraces the first-person sci-fi genre and shooter with elements of real-time strategy. The player will discover a world consumed by hunger and scarcity of resources, with a planet that is dying to the point that its destruction is near. In this context, humanity has developed a survival mechanism that consists of transplanting the human brain into a robotic body. At first it was a voluntary process, but with the uprising of the Rayonne military legion, the election is completely blurred.

Romer Shoal, protagonist of the video game, is the leader of a group of outlaws who will fight to put the army in check. Desintegration has a campaign and a competitive multiplayer.
