At the moment, the developer responsible for the saga has reiterated that it is not among its plans to add Halo 5: Guardians.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection completed the adaptation of all its titles to PC, an optimization that has served to add improvements and other features to the product. Be that as it may, something is brewing within the developer: “We have quite a bit of new content that we are looking forward to reaching your hands”, but before announcing anything concrete, they will wait to see how development progresses “in the coming weeks ”. Regarding the content itself, they have not offered any specific details, but they have anticipated that it may be “a new place” and “a new way of playing.”

What did 343 say about Halo 5?
On the possibility that Halo 5: Guardians will arrive at some point in The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries has stated that the fourth installment is the last that they have “currently planned for the collection.” Maybe that “currently” does not close all the doors, but the team apologized and said that they were sorry “not to fulfill” the dream that the fifth chapter was present at the MCC.
343 Industries continues to work on Halo Infinite, the new installment for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. The title was scheduled for the launch of Microsoft’s next-gen consoles, but the studio announced that it would be delayed until 2021. All content is already in the game, so they will focus on improving the experience.
