According to ‘Mafia III’, developer Hangar 13 has been working on a previously unknown project for quite some time, which will soon be heard more about.
This emerges from the Take Two investor conference, where Take-Two President Karl Slatoff said that more will be learned in the coming months. Either a direct successor, Mafia 4, or a brand new studio brand is suspected. There were already indications of both, including that Hangar 13 should serve as a co-developer for BioShock. After a brand new studio for Cloud Chamber was founded here, this could be obsolete again, especially since the development of BioShock should take a few more years.
In addition, it was confirmed that the 2K studio in Silicon Valley, which currently has no name, is slowly taking shape to work on a new project. This is managed by Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey and could probably talk about the intended project in the coming months.
