Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix will come to the West: date, demo and news

SEGA will release the game exclusively for Nintendo Switch this May in digital format with more than 100 songs.

SEGA has confirmed that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix will arrive in Europe and the United States on May 15 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The title, based on Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone (Arcade, PS4), will arrive only in digital format via eShop and will offer both basic button controls and a new method of motion control with which to take advantage of the functions of the Joy -With; one in each hand.

According to the information, this installment will bring more than 100 songs, 300 costumes to customize the protagonist, various game modes and a refined graphic style in true anime style and updated 3D models. As usual in Nintendo Switch works, the control scheme is adapted to play both in portable and desktop mode.

Regarding the list of songs, 10 new songs will be included regarding the original PS4 title such as "Decorator" by Kz, "Odds & Ends" by Ryo, "Rolling Girl" by Wowaka, "Alien Alien" by Nayutan Seijin and "39 Music! ” by Mikito-P. The last two songs are two of the 10 new re-recorded tracks with enhancements to first appear in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix.

The standard edition will cost 39.99 euros; although there will also be a Mega Pack edition with 36 additional songs at a total price of 59.99 euros. At least in Japan, each additional content pack is sold separately for $ 6.99 per change and six songs each. In any case, those who do not purchase the Mega Pack edition will be able to access the Theme Song DLC ​​Pack content with those 36 themes from June.

On the occasion of the announcement, SEGA has released a free demo with two songs: Arifureta Sekai Seifuku and Romeo and Cinderella with the possibility of playing in both modalities. Throughout this week the reservation of the title in the eShop will be activated in Europe. The return of this popular saga in Japan will be the first installment for the Nintendo Switch to hit the West. Originally, the title was released on Switch last February in Japan.
