The popular Japanese creative, a great movie buff, reveals on Twitter what his favorite films of this year are about to end.
Everyone knows the great fondness that Hideo Kojima, director of the recent Death Stranding, has for the cinema, affirming even in his Twitter bio that 70% of his body is made of films. It is common for the Japanese creator to recommend on social networks some of the films he enjoys and at the end of each year, reveal what his favorites are. In this 2019 he could not change the custom, and has revealed which ones he has liked the most in the last 12 months.
Anyone who has played only one of the games directed by Kojima will have realized the cinematographic character of all of them, printing a strong plot load and long cinematic scenes, the result of his great passion for cinema. During this year 2019, one of those films that he has enjoyed the most is Parasite, which places first, Korean and has won several awards such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globes.

He then mentions the Swedish Border, and thirdly El Irlan, the most popular of this Top 5 personal of Kojima, played by Robert de Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci, three regulars of the mafia cinema that return for their privileges with this tape released on Netflix. Fourth, he mentions the Chinese film An Elephant Sitting Still, while it closes with Cold War, set, as its name implies, in the Cold War, and produced in Poland.
Kojima's connection to the cinema
Such is the passion Kojima feels for the seventh art that this leads him to permanently interact with directors, producers, actors and actresses. Such is the case of J. J. Abrams, director of the new Star Wars trilogy, and who recently described the Japanese director as "a teacher." This apart from, of course, the participation of great Hollywood stars in Death Stranding such as actors Norman Reedus, Madds Mikelsen or Lea Seydoux, in addition to Mexican director Guillermo del Toro.
