Square Enix announces that another of its successes for iOS and Android is available for free.
Square Enix Montreal has announced on its Twitter account that another of its hits in mobile format, Hitman Go, is available for free download on both iOS and Android. In this way, players have until April 23 to download it in the App Store and in the Play Store. The promotion comes just after Lara Croft Go could be acquired in the same way for a time to deal with the coronavirus. There are many games that are being offered free or with great discounts to go through the quarantine in the best possible way.
Hitman Go was released six years ago on mobile devices as a game in which we controlled Agent 47 while using touch controls to overcome enemies and kill them in different phases. The game stood out at the time for offering an innovative experience within the saga, for its design of increasing levels of challenge and options and for a most curious staging. It is true that it was somewhat frustrating and limited in content, but being free offers guaranteed entertainment.
The title came out later, in 2016, on PC and PS4 (also Vita) as the Definitive Edition, where it was revised to add content and change some mechanics to adapt them to traditional controls. Note that Sony has Crossbuy on consoles, so if you buy one you can enjoy it on both platforms. Of course, in this case there is no discount that is worth: in the PS4 store the title is at 7.99 euros, while on Steam it is also at the same price.
