Hokko Life: Announced a spiritual heir of Animal Crossing for PC

The title, inspired by the famous Nintendo saga, will be released in Early Access status sometime in this year 2020. First trailer and details.

Robert Tatnell, an artist with experience in Sony or the already closed Lionhead Studio, always wanted to fulfill his dream of materializing a video game inspired by Animal Crossing and, after a long time of development, that goal is now closer than ever with Hokko Life, a videogame of the simulation of life with material collection, agriculture, decoration, customization and relations with the rest of the neighbors of a town.

Your new life in Hokko Life: personalization, crops, relationships

As we see in the first trailer, there is no doubt about the video game license on which it is based. The Nintendo phenomenon, which hopes to launch Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 20, will be released long before this Hokko Life, whose launch in its final version for PC (via Steam) is scheduled for the first half of 2021. It will be this year , however, when you can play the early access version with a considerable amount of what we will find with the commercial edition soon.

The design of the animals, which will be the neighbors of the town, will respect an anthropomorphic design. For the rest, the premise is very clear: we begin a new life in the world of Hokko, with the possibility of installing our own home and personalizing it in a thousand ways; In fact, even some furniture can be configured, closer to The Sims than to what we had seen in Animal Crossing.

Clothing customization will also be an intrinsic element in everyday life; which will be complemented by activities such as fishing and the care of our crops. The city seems quite large and varied in terms of places and situations, with places to trade and exchange the materials we collect.

Judging by the initial reception, Hokko Life is waking up a great expectation and it becomes, with all right, an alternative to the Animal Crossing saga in computer.
