Horace, now available for free in the Epic Games Store; next, The Bridge

The Fortnite creators' store returns to its usual pace and presents the game that will be available during the next week.

Fifth Horacio Flaco was a famous poet of Ancient Rome that has nothing to do with the protagonist of the next free video game from Epic Games Store, beyond sharing the same name. Horace, starring a small robot, is available from January 16 until the next day 23. Consumed that date, The Bridge is called to be its substitute in the following week.

In this story, the protagonist will embark on a two-dimensional platform adventure in which the robot will learn the ins and outs of life. It will do so as you go through a series of phases plagued with nostalgic references to pop culture. In total, we have more than 15 hours full of extravagant characters and disparate situations.

The video game is quite recent, as it went on sale on July 18, 2020, by the hand of 505 Games. This independent title has been developed with a very small team. In fact, only two people have participated in the process of creating the work. According to the official description, "it is a game created by video game lovers for video game lovers." They promise "a deep argument" that touches different themes.

A return to logic

The Bridge, meanwhile, focuses on puzzles to challenge the player with puzzles that force him to rethink the preconceptions about physics and perspective. We will have to manipulate gravity to complete the challenges and get out of all situations.

Epic Games Store has just added one of the most demanded features by players. The platform allows you to read the reviews that the professional media have made about the games available in the store. They use Open Critic, an Reviews aggregator similar to Metacritic. What are not activated, at the moment, are the criticism of the users, a functionality that is operational in Steam.
