Once the application period ends, FromSoftware will announce the selected players on 7 Aug 2026 at 1:00 PM UTC. Successful contestants receive a confirmation email containing the download code for the pre‑release build.

Download codes become active on 18 Aug 2026, 1:00 PM UTC, via the Nintendo Store or eShop. The test will feature eight participants per match in the “Dusk Battles,” where players vie for the coveted First Blood trophy.
