Epic Games launches a free‑to‑play route to the Mongraal skin in Fortnite
Epic Games has announced the Mongraal Icon Cup, offering every Fortnite Duos competitor a chance to acquire the streamer’s new skin without paying V‑Bucks.
The 2‑day competition will run June 27‑28, 2026, inside the “Reload” game mode. Players must queue for the Mongraal Icon Cup once it becomes live, and in the in‑game menu they’ll find a dedicated “Compete” tab that tracks progression and consent.
Standard Mongraal rewards and how to claim them
Achieving the top 300 placements for each region unlocks the complete beginner set:-
- Mongraal skin – 1st – 300th
- Mongraal back bling – 1st – 300th
- The Harvester pickaxe – 1st – 300th
- Lucky Clover pickaxe – 1st – 300th
- Shing Shing Shing emote – 1st – 300th
- Clover Crush wrap – 8 points
- Clovert Ops spray – 8 points
Placement thresholds differ by server: Europe top 300; Asia, Oceania, Middle East top 40; Brazil, NA West top 65; NA Central top 200.
Elite Mongraal skin and exclusive back bling
Players who reach higher tiers earn the premium Elite Mongraal skin and The Counter back bling, with placements capped at 1,200th for each continent:
- Elite Mongraal skin – 1st – 1,200th
- The Counter back bling – 1st – 1,200th
Corresponding regional limits are: Europe top 1,200; Asia, Oceania, Middle East top 160; Brazil, NA West top 260; NA Central top 800.
Failing to win a high placement? The Item Shop will have the skin
Should a player’s final position fall short of the thresholds, the same skin set will later appear in the Fortnite Item Shop, available for purchase with V‑Bucks. The shop release date has not yet been disclosed.
