The game has not yet confirmed its date for Western countries, although Bandai Namco’s releases are usually practically worldwide.
It’s been a long time coming, but Jump Force: Deluxe Edition will bring all its manganime action to the Nintendo Switch very soon, at least in Japanese territory. Bandai Namco has announced that the title will go on sale on August 27, which means that if they follow the patterns they have established to date, the title developed by Spike Chunsoft will be released in the West on August 28. The Japanese have also unveiled the content that will include from day 1.
Everyone who preorders the game will receive a digital code with some extra content: a small Frieza pod, three avatar costumes (Frieza’s battle jacket, One Piece pirate coat, and the Fourth Hokage robe from the Naruto saga ). In addition, they will get an item that will be very useful at the beginning of the game, as well as a T-shirt with the Jump logo, another T-shirt with the Pirate logo and a V-Jump hood (all of them are game elements, not physical objects) .
The Nintendo Switch version can be played differently than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. With a single console, up to six players can enjoy the experience. Additionally, all nine characters in Character Pass 1 are available in the Deluxe Edition, not the second downloadable pack. This version also allows local multiplayer with two connected consoles.
