Square Enix has revealed further details about the upcoming 'Kingdom Hearts III' DLC 'Re: Mind', which reveal more about the characters and the additional scenario.
Accordingly, players can switch between the characters Riku, Aqua, Roxas, Kairi here and there while traveling within the Seven Guardians of Light. The additional scenario takes place during the climax of the game. Sora returns to the part of the game just before the climax of the battle at Keyblade Cemetery and travels to the hearts of the Seven Guardians of Light to experience her own battles.
Each fight will present the player with different challenges that are unique to each guardian. To defeat the Guardians, players must switch between playable characters that return from other games in the series. In addition, special interactions between characters will be available in certain battles, which are likely to do more damage.
It is also speculated whether fan favorites like Mickey and Lea will be available as part of the Re: Mind DLC, as they have a close connection to the Seven Guardians of Light. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
Re: Mind also promises high-level battles against every member of the Real Organization XIII included as a “Limit Cut Episode”, which will truly test you as a player.
Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind will be released on January 23, 2020.
