Life is Strange will continue with new stories and characters

Dontnod Entertainment does not rule out publishing new stories based on characters from the past, but prefer to look forward.

About Life is Strange 3 there is nothing written. The developer has just finished the story of the wolf brothers, Sean and Daniel, so they have not yet thought about the next steps they will take. This was commented by Michel Koch and Jean-Luc Cano, both developers of Dontnod Entertainment, in an interview with GameSpot.

“You know, we don't really know where we're going to go, because the game has just launched,” they point out in relation to Life is Strange 2. “For the next adventure we don't know yet, but we have some ideas and elements that we want to explore. What I can tell you is that for us the story of Max and Chloe, of Life is Strange 1, is over, it has already been told, and the story of Sean and Daniel is told in Life is Strange 2, so maybe we will go back to See them one day, but … ”

Although the universe of all these characters is shared – there are nods to Max and Chloe in the sequel – the developers point out that each of those stories have a beginning and an end, they are a complete story. "I think we want to explore new characters, new themes and new ways of telling stories."

Two new videogames on the way

After launching Vampyr and the sequel to Life is Strange, Dontnod Entertainment has two other video games in development, both of the narrative adventure genre, although with different themes. In Twin Mirror, produced with Bandai Namco, they explore the psychology of a character who returns to his hometown after the death of a friend. However, he will wake up the next day with a bloody shirt in the bathroom and not remembering anything that happened the night before.

Tell me Why is a title that was announced during the X019, because the game comes out under the umbrella of Xbox Game Studios. It is a game that focuses on inclusion and trans representation. Life is Strange, meanwhile, is a Square Enix franchise.
