Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed more details about the release of 'Marvel's Avengers' and confirmed, among other things, how many heroes will be playable.
Thus, the selection with six heroes still pretty clear, including Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Captain America and Ms. Marvel. Scot Amos, Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics commented:
"The hero missions are reserved for the single player and introduce the player to levels built for the use of a particular hero and to improve their qualities. In the future, you will also unlock the Warzone Missions, which are playable with any hero and at any time, both in single-player and co-op modes (up to four players).
The only limitation is that you have to choose different heroes: no Hulk teams! To provide more choices, after the launch, in addition to the six heroes you originally have, you will also be releasing more heroes that will be available to players for free. "
Furthermore, Amos has once again emphasized that there will also be multiple endings that will influence story-making decisions and generally have long-term support planned for the next generation around the PS5.
Marvel's Avengers will be released in May 2020.
