Insomniac Games confirms that, unlike the original Spider-Man and its remastering, the new installment will have cross-save.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will allow us to transfer our saved game from the PS4 version to the PlayStation 5. Insomniac Games, authors of the original game and this sequel as an independent expansion, has confirmed through the social network Twitter that the Users who get hold of the game on PS4 will be able to continue where they left off if in any case they decide to continue in the new generation.
Unlike with video games like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, whose version for PS5 is scheduled for March 2021 without the possibility of transferring the game between versions; or Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, which will not allow progress to migrate to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered on PS5, the new adventure for the young African-American from Brooklyn will.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is out on PS5 and PS4 this November 19.
“You can transfer your save game to PS5. We will give more details when the launch approaches ”, points out the communication manager of Insomniac Games. Therefore, we are waiting to know if this game transfer tool will be governed by some type of subscription modality such as PS Plus – one of its advantages is the possibility of saving games in the cloud – or if it will be available for all of players, regardless of whether or not they subscribe to anything.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is coming to PS4 and PS5 on November 19
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will have a special edition on PS4 with several esxtras. Among them, a T.R.A.C.K. designed by the Spanish artist Javier Garrón.
