Marvel’s Spider-Man – successor to appear on PS5 in 2021

Playfront

The end of 'Marvel’s Spider-Man' already indicated that the option to continue was kept open. This is said to have been in the works for some time now and will appear on PS5 in 2021, as current rumors claim.

The announcement should take place this summer, with a release around Christmas 2021. The sequel is said to be located around a few months after the original game, to play in the winter season, as well as in Brookyn and Queens. In addition to Peter Parker, Miles Morales should also play a bigger role this time, maybe you can even switch between these characters.

Gameplay uses the PS5 power

With the power of the PS5, Insomniac Games would also like to take the opportunity to explore the game world more intensely, for example by entering certain buildings. There are also said to be brand new traversal mechanisms that are generally being revised again. So there is talk of a 'web chain' feature that can be used to target different points on the map at the same time and between which you can then quickly switch back and forth. The movement system should also be divided into three categories – physics-based, arcade style and a mixture of both.

The story also mentions that Eddie Brock will play an important role, with Harry Osborn being the venom of the game, with a unique view of the character. Other villians mentioned are Carnage and Mysterio.

The extent to which this information applies cannot be verified at the moment, so it must first be regarded as a rumor.
