The British study title has debuted on PS4 with an outstanding international criticism. His port, although not announced, seems a fact.
Media Molecule already thinks of an adaptation of Dreams for PS5. After qualifying as a “logical step” that its new experience creation videogame also comes to light in the imminent new generation of Sony consoles, as well as compatibility with virtual reality, the British study has said that “Dreams already works in PlayStation 5 ”, but that, for the moment, there is nothing to announce about an eventual port.
“I mean, obviously we're going to aspire to it; we are a PlayStation studio, ”says Alex Evans, co-founder of Media Molecule, for Eurogamer. “Dreams already works on PlayStation 5; There you have the scoop. But it's just about our developers, who are exploring it, ”he clarifies. Therefore, they are not confirming the port of Dreams for PS5 because, currently, it is not the time.
"I would lie to you if I told you that we are not going to explore it, but there are currently no plans to do so," referring to the possible port. The title has been in development for more than four years, has undergone delays and many changes, including a twelve-month period in an early access state so that those interested in the new LittleBigPlanet parents could begin to make use of the game tools and create not only games but animation shorts, movies or video clips.

PlayStation 5, a price that raises doubts in Sony
Regarding that new console, called PlayStation 5, we know it will be. On sale at Christmas 2020 and it will be backward compatible – at least – with PS4; although they have not detailed whether it will be a backward compatibility in physical, digital format or both. All those details will be known soon; although, today, Sony has already enabled the official website dedicated to the console.
The latest information consulted by sources such as Business Insider suggest that Sony is having trouble closing the retail price of PS5. Some components are quite expensive to produce and, therefore, adjusting the profit margin of the console according to the cost of manufacturing it is a headache.
