MeriPodcast 14x12: 2020 in retro key; Our Christmas memories

Last meeting of the year to chat about some of our favorite retro games and moments in these 12 months

The retro Meripodcast team meets for the last time this year to share some of the keys to 2020 within the retro sensibilities that animate us. We talk about neo-retro, homebrew, novelties for traditional machines, retro-inspired games that have motivated us throughout these months. We also dedicate a space to share with you some of the most special moments of our past Christmas.

Throughout this hour and 20 minutes we address various topics and names that have attracted our attention these months. Of course, we could not miss a mention of the magnificent Streets of Rage 4, but we also commented on games like Super XYX, or Paprium, a game for Megadrive that has been almost a decade in development and that many were already canceled. Other protagonists are the excellent free expansion of Blasphemous, which has allowed the Spanish game to take a more than notorious leap in quality that puts it among the greats.

Of course, we also take the opportunity to wish you the best possible parties and a 2021 with better news than those seen this year. See you next year with the two teams ready to continue entertaining talking about what we like the most, this hobby that unites us.

Thanks for listening to the MeriPodcast. We remember that you can listen to each program on YouTube, iVoox, iTunes and Spotify.
