Metal Gear Solid, a silent saga

Hideo Kojima left Konami at the end of 2015, just as his contract expired. He did so after releasing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, to date the last title in the main saga. Next, the Japanese company announced Metal Gear Survive, an action survival spin-off that passed without pain or glory, of course surrounded by criticism. Kojima himself wanted to distance himself from this production and assured that he had nothing to do with it. The developers took advantage of the graphics engine and the locations to build a video game that does not follow the official story. Instead, it offers a zombie-filled multiplayer experience, in an alternate reality.

The Japanese director re-founded Kojima Productions and has already released his first video game with his independent studio. Death Stranding came out last November exclusively for PlayStation 4, from Sony Interactive Entertainment. The PC version, released in the summer, has been published by 505 Games. The future? Kojima is already working on a new project. As for Konami and Metal Gear Solid, it is known that some time ago they looked for new employees, but for the moment they have not revealed their plans.
