Baseball games will be multiplatform starting in 2021. Interestingly, this does not mean that the Japanese company will stop developing them and both she and the American league have confirmed that they are extending their contract to create and distribute more MLB: The Show titles over the next few years. The future MLB 21: The Show will once again have San Diego Studio behind, but it will have versions for Nintendo and Microsoft consoles, which have echoed the news and shared and celebrated the decision on their networks.
Sony has been in charge of the MLB franchise since the legendary MLB '98 that came out in 1997 for the original PlayStation. It accumulates more than two decades of deliveries behind it, with about twenty-five games in the series for up to five different platforms (its three desktop consoles, PSP and PlayStation Vita).
