Warner Bros. and Netherrealm have two special tower events as a gift to the players who want to have a bloody swap under the tree for Christmas.
The tower events Winter Wonderland (22nd to 27th December) and Ring in the New Year (28th December to 2nd January) in the Towers of Time mode are available as free content updates for all owners of Mortal Kombat 11 To be available.
- Winter Wonderland The tower event (22nd to 27th December) offers three towers with festive options in the form of falling killer kanes, sledding Tarkatans, parachuting ginger deadmen, exploding snowmen, Christmas trees, menoras, dreidels and shooting stars.
- Ring in the New Year The tower event (Dec. 28th to Jan. 2nd) offers three towers where players can celebrate the beginning of the new decade – with party options such as disco balls, champagne bottles, party poppers, fireworks and a digital countdown to usher in the new year.
- The Kombat League, Mortal Kombat 11's seasonal ranking mode, is currently in its sixth season, the 'Season of Konquest' and is open to all players until January 7th. The next season of the Kombat League starts on January 14th.
Both events bring a number of festive options and allow fighters to earn character skins, player module pieces, Christmas consumables and other rewards.
