The Netherrealm Studios reveal the first details about spawn in 'Mortal Kombat 11', a fan favorite character that fans have long wanted.
Spawn was designed in close collaboration with Todd McFarlane and will be available in Early Access from March. In his character bio it says:
“Al Simmons, once the greatest soldier and most effective assassin of the United States government, was executed mercilessly by his own men. Simmons is resurrected from the ashes of his own grave in a faulty correspondence with the powers of darkness and is reborn as a creature from the depths of hell. A brood of hell. Now he will be pushed into the world of Mortal Kombat, where he will fight for supremacy against all combatants. ”
Spawn premieres at the Final Kombat 2020 in early March. Also on site are Todd McFarlane (inventor of Spawn and creative director / CEO of McFarlane Toys), Keith David (voice actor for Spawn in Mortal Kombat 11), Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (voice actress for Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11) and Ed Boon (Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios and co-creator of Mortal Kombat).
Spawn will be available in Early Access from March 17th and will follow for everyone else a week later. Also in March, a new action figure from Spawn will be available, which Todd McFarlane already presents on Twitter today.
