The popular career mode of WRC 8 is expanded even further. He returns in WRC 9 with improved gameplay mechanics, new team upgrades, a greater variety of events, and a stronger connection to the real championship team’s activities.

Even more content

WRC 9 will again offer extensive content. Three new events have been added to the racing calendar: the return of Kenya’s well-known safari rally, the Rally Japan with its demanding, narrow asphalt tracks and the breathtaking landscapes of the New Zealand rally. In addition to these, two further rallies with completely revised landscapes will be available. Fans can also get behind the wheel of other classic rally cars that have made WRC history.

An even more realistic gaming experience

To upgrade and refine certain vehicle properties, the developers have again dealt with the realism of vehicle physics – including suspension, brakes and mass transfer – in order to offer authenticity on a new level. This detailed work realistically reproduces the behavior of the vehicles on all surfaces and under all conditions that can also be found in the real championship. Special attention was also paid to the further optimization of the sound design for a deeper immersion in the game world.
