Announced at The Game Awards 2019, the new NetEase Game proposes to take the battles of Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima to multiplayer modes.

Samurai and medieval China are in fashion. Tell them if not to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which has won the Best Game of 2019 award, or Ghost of Tsushima, which has dazzled at The Game Awards with a new trailer and its release date (summer of 2020). To them they wanted to add during the awards ceremony a third title of Eastern court, Naraka: Bladepoint, which we had already heard about in the previous event. Announced by Geoff Keighley, it is a game developed by 24 Entertainment (with no known previous work) and distributed by NetEase Games (an increasingly common Chinese company in the sector, which even has investments in Blizzard, Bungie and Quantic Dream) . During the gala, Naraka drew the steel and left us her first trailer:

As you can see in the video, we are facing a multiplayer game that will be released in 2020 for PC (via Steam). Set in a fictional country, in Naraka: Bladepoint meets all kinds of assassins specialized in close combat. Katanas, sabers, giant batons … We will even have a hook with clear reminiscences to Sekiro, with which we can climb, get fired, run through the walls and perform all kinds of pirouettes with which to have some advantage in combat. Far from being confined to closed scenarios in which to put players to fight, Naraka takes place on a strange and abandoned island, which according to the developer we can explore and explore on our own to enjoy "splendid landscapes and unexplained enigmas."

"The players will feel each attack and will have to use a huge arsenal and skill set to achieve the victory," declared from 24 Entertainment. "Our team has created something visually impressive and appealing to fans of online fighting." In the absence of deepening a little more in his combat system, during the presentation there was talk of some very particular details, such as that there will be no lock or counterattack button, "parry" mechanics being implemented differently, such as through the movement of the character or of the attacks themselves. We will see how Naraka: Bladepoint evolves for its launch, for which it already has its own page on Steam.
