After passing a phase of silence, Necromunda reappears as a more complete title, taking turns and ready to appear in the summer.
We had not known anything for a long time about Necromunda Underhive Wars, a strategy title set in a very specific setting of Warhammer 40,000: the underworlds of the colossal hive cities, endless corners full of machinery that no one understands anymore and where the lowest echelon of imperial society fights to the death, forming gangs that fight for the domination of forgotten secrets and resources.
Now the title of Rogue Factor reappears and is renewed with new ideas, including a different combat system than that seen in recent years, abandoning the original combination of turns and real-time action for a purely turn-based system, although always under the precept that it is not a 100% digital adaptation of the board game nor is it a re-adaptation of Mordheim, the former Canadian studio title. What they are looking for is to get the most out of the license and that is why they have delved into a main campaign of fifteen missions, giving it a more narrative touch and counting on the script of Andy Chambers, the original creator of Necromunda, who will give the personality and authenticity they need to transmit this particular and evocative setting to us.
There is only war
Our gang will be determined by a class system with three well-known differentiated factions and specialist roles for each that will encompass melee specialists, snipers, engineers and a few others, with extensive customization options and vertical scenarios that offer the feeling of vastness what these places should offer. It will also make available to the player different multiplayer modes with a total of 26 maps made by manp, with the possibility of four-man battles and cooperative mode.
There is no exact release date but it is planned for PC, PS4, Xbox One this summer at a price of € 39.99
