In addition to Blood Reward: For a Handful of Redemption (the paid story DLC), a free round is added.
The Borderlands 3 story continues with new adventures. After the premiere of the new episode of The Borderlands Show, the Gearbox team has given more details about the two new contents that will soon be available on all platforms. The first of them, Assault on the Gap of the Guardian, is a final challenge that will be available for free starting on June 4. The second, part of the season pass, will invite us to experience an adventure with a Wild West theme, as confirmed by 2K Games in a press release.
This is Blood Reward: For a Fistful of Redemption, content that is the third add-on to the pay campaign and one that will have us facing a gang of outlaws who ride beasts on the border planet of Gehenna. The Demojinetes are wreaking havoc on this planet and the citizens of the city of Vestigio are terrified, so we must forge an alliance with the locals and fight in bloody battles against these ruthless beings.
During the course of this journey, we will meet new characters such as Rose, an extremely capable warrior with the pistol and the katana. Juno, another powerful fighter, will also join in her quest to defeat the Demojinetes. According to the press release, everything we do will have a direct impact on Vestigio and its inhabitants. Therefore, we will have to help rebuild the city.
How is the new assault?
Like Maliwan's Assault on the Clandestine Center, this one will also cater to the number of players in the group, though it is designed for users to carry a full group of four chamber finders. They promise new enemies and "complicated puzzles", as well as "low gravity" platform sections that are designed for the player to squeeze the brain. As if that were not enough, in the end there will be a great boss, who when falling, will leave a succulent reward.
Borderlands 3 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
