Square Enix has just opened its own page to Re Mind, the first great downloadable content of Kingdom Hearts 3. A website where we can find new information related to the DLC; details about his stage, bosses and playable characters. Before summarizing them all, we remind you that the expansion will come out with several editions, contents and prices, and that it will arrive on January 23, 2020 on PlayStation 4 and two days later, on 25, on Xbox One. Now yes, we start with the new information, and we recommend stopping reading to those who have not completed the saga. The following lines may contain spoilers about the story.
The plot of Kingdom Hearts 3: Re Mind is located just before the climax of the game, in the moments before Sora goes to the Keychain Sword Necropolis to fight the final battle and rescue Kairi. A few moments in which, if you remember, the seven Guardians of the Light were fighting against the members of Organization XIII. The expansion proposes us to "cross the heart" of our companions, the Guardians, and live those fights in the first person. See the entire final stretch of the game from their eyes, from their different perspectives and situations. This is the confirmation of playable characters such as Riku, Aqua, Roxas and Kairi herself, with "some more surprise" yet to be revealed. We can switch between them at all times, and unleash powerful cooperative skills if several coincide on the stage.
To all this we must add the return of the Final Fantasy characters, Aerith, Yuffie and Squall, confirmed a few weeks ago. On the web you can also read about the “Limit Cut Episode and Boss” content, where we are promised individual and particularly difficult battles against each member of Organization XIII. They will have a level of challenge above normal and will require us to perfectly master the combat system.
