New Game + announced: new digital fair featuring SEGA, Koei Tecmo, Arc System Works and more

In the line of other events of this nature, the companies will announce news of their video games live through Twitch.

The cancellation of fairs as important as E3 2020 or the Tokyo Game Show (Gamescom will be held in digital format), has caused the announcements that are usually made at these events to be scattered among different alternatives. Some companies choose to use their own channels, while others use digital events organized by third-party companies. If there were not enough events planned, a new addition to the agenda has just been announced, the New Game + Expo.

Adam Johnson is the promoter of this initiative that will take place on June 23 at 5:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on Twitch. Later, at 18:00, there will be rounds of questions and answers and more news. Once completed, everything will be archived on the official YouTube channel. As confirmed, the event will show a lineup of 40 video games, including some surprise and demo gameplay. Among the names of companies present will be Koei Tecmo, SEGA, WayFoward or Arc System Works.

"New Game + Expo is made up of a group of publishers and developers," they explain in the announcement statement. "They are being organized together for the first time, so we hope fans will have fun and take a look at the mix of games coming out in 2020 and beyond."

The coronavirus outbreak has not stopped the flow of ads. In fact, the number of alternative fairs is indicative of how much companies have to communicate, especially in a year characterized by the premiere of the new consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox Series X. With so many events, it is difficult to follow the calendar without getting lost, so at FreeGameTips we have prepared an article with everything you need to know broken down in detail.
