New update of Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone: all the news

Infinity Ward finalizes all the news and changes included in this patch, which brings with it new game modes, Operator and more.

Activision and Infinity Ward have released a new update for Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, their two star multiplayer video games of 2020. According to the developer, this patch comes to refresh the content rotation of both titles with news demanded by the community from both the latest canonical installment of the saga and that of its independent battle royale. Let’s take a look at the patch, now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

All the news of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone pack

For starters, one of the Campaign’s heroes and a member of Task Force 141, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, is already playable as an Operator in Modern Warfare and Warzone. The so-called ‘Gaz Operator Bundle’ includes a skin for the Operator added to several challenges that we can complete to unlock additional skins. We will also instantly unlock two blueprints weapons, Fair Brass and Tanker; as well as Hit Sticks, a Kali Sticks blueprint.

As far as game modes are concerned, we have as a great novelty in Modern Warfare the 10v10 chaos and 6v6 maps where we will have more teammates and enemies. On the other hand, we can also face each other on strategic maps in trios (3v3) in modes such as Confirmed Casualty, Domination or Grind, among others. For Warzone there are also changes, because this week we have duets, trios, quartets and solo games. The new map, Promenade, is available alongside Warzone Rumble until further notice.
