Nintendo registers new patents for the Poké Ball Plus peripheral

The Japanese company has not announced any additional peripherals at the moment, although five variants have been registered.

In tall grass, on the thickets of plants, all kinds of creatures dwell. The Pokémon move around the world, while the trainers prepare their Poké Ball to expand their equipment. Those who have expanded their number of patents have been Nintendo, which have registered five mobile devices similar to the Poké Ball Plus, as Japanese Nintendo reports.

The patents, accompanied by their respective design schemes, have been presented as "Video Game Controller". All of them define the device as a series of components within a spherical controller that allows several operations when used as a control command. According to the registry, try to "improve the degree of freedom of a structure" that emits light. Be that as it may, so far Nintendo has not officially announced any new version of the Poké Ball Plus.

Although Pokémon Let's GO Pikachu / Eeeve allowed the use of this peripheral (it was sold in pack with the game), the recently released deliveries, Pokémon Sword and Shield, are not compatible with the device. From the Kyoto company nothing has been announced about it. In any case, it should be remembered that the registration of a patent does not necessarily mean that the product will be marketed.

Giant Snorlax opens in Pokémon Sword / Shield

If one thinks of a lazy creature within the Pokémon world, surely Snorlax is one of the most representative. And if we talk about the Gigamax version, which fattens its proportions and grows to unsuspected limits, anyone can ask how it will fit in such a tiny Poké Ball. The Pokémon, which comes to Galar for a limited time, can be obtained in the raids. It will be available from December 4 until the beginning of January.

To this version of Snorlax, in whose fur seeds of all kinds have become entangled, a huge tree has grown, surrounded by all kinds of plants.

Pokémon Sword and Shield is available since November 15 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. This is the new main installment of the saga, which will continue to receive content in the coming months.
