Nintendo Switch Lite Coral announced, new console color

Nintendo Switch Lite Coral announced, new console color

This new color is confirmed, for now, only for the Japanese market, so we will have to wait for possible news.

The family grows. Nintendo Switch Lite will soon receive a new color in Japan. As of March 20, Japanese players will have the possibility of acquiring the Coral model, which joins the other colors, also available in the West (gray, turquoise and yellow). At the moment, the information does not specify whether it is exclusive to the Japanese market, since none of Nintendo's divisions have echoed the news.

Nintendo Switch Lite is a model more focused on portable videogames. Unlike the original version, it does not have removable Joy-Cons nor can it be connected to the television. On the other hand, its size is reduced by 28% (91.1mm x 208mm x 13.9mm), it has a 5.5-inch LCD screen instead of the 6.2 of Nintendo Switch and weighs 275 grams. The console went on sale last September 20 and was the first official review of the machine. Rumors about a possible, more powerful Pro edition, have not stopped happening, but so far nothing has been confirmed.

Nintendo Switch in 2020

Nintendo Switch faces a new year with Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the horizon. The Japanese company has other confirmed exclusive titles, such as Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3 and the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, only Animal Crossing has a release date. The exit of the rest of the games is still unknown, waiting for a new Nintendo Direct to be drawn up that draws plans in the short and medium term in 2020.

Meanwhile, the Kyoto company has recognized the production problems of Nintendo Switch and some of its accessories (Ring Fit). The reason is that coranavirus has affected factories in China, although to date there have only been stock problems in Japan. The Japanese have declared that in principle the West will get rid of these vicissitudes.
