The Japanese company updates its best-selling games, including titles such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year have brought to light the total sales figures for Nintendo Switch, which has already reached 55.77 million units sold. During this period, those in Kyoto have added 3.29 million consoles despite the coronavirus crisis, which has notably affected the video game industry. The report has also served to update the numbers referring to the sale of video games until March 31, 2020.
Pokémon Sword / Shield and Animal Crossing: New Horizons have starred in a triumphal entry, with 17.37 million and 11.77 million units sold respectively. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe continues to be the best-selling video game, reaching 24.77 million copies sold. Other products like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Super Mario Odyssey are also among Nintendo's most successful products.

Best selling Nintendo Switch games until March 30, 2020
Nintendo Switch has received games this year like Pokémon Mystery World: DX Rescue Team or Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Soon, on May 29, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will be released. However, major games like the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Bayonetta 3, or Metroid Prime 4 still don't have a confirmed release date. We will therefore have to wait for new informative events such as the Nintendo Direct.
