Team Ninja lets you transfer your game from Nioh 2 from PS4 to the PS5 remaster. We tell you the steps you must follow to complete the process.
Nioh 2 Remastered is out now on PS5. The update of the success of Team Ninja in the fifth generation of PlayStation coincides with its launch on PC, a version that incorporates its own novelties according to the platform. In the case of the console version, it is possible to transfer your original game from PS4 to PS5. We tell you the detailed process.
How to move your game from Nioh 2 on PS4 to Nioh 2 Remastered on PS5
To bring your game from Nioh 2 to the PS5 version you must follow a specific process. It is not useful to put it directly in your new console; you will have to use the steps indicated from within the game.
To start, you have to have a game of Nioh 2 on PS4 on a pendrive or uploaded to the cloud offered by the PS Plus subscription service. Once you have it located, copy it to your PS5’s storage.
Once located, go to the Games Library on the PS5 interface, search for Nioh 2 and download the full version of PS4. You will be able to know what it is by clicking on the three points on the right side of the menu, once you enter the game box. If you have it physically, insert the disk and proceed to the installation.
When you enter the PS4 game, select the System tab and click Cross-save Management. Inside click on Send data to cloud storage.
Once the transfer is complete, close the game and download Nioh 2 Remastered from your Game Library. In case you have not activated your free copy by having the last generation edition, activate it by inserting your disk and going to its tab in the PS Store; the same if you have it in digital format.
Enter Nioh 2 Remastered, click on System and enter Cross-save Management. Now click on Download data from cloud storage.
After a short download, it will ask you to restart the game. When you click the window to close, there will be a black fade and the startup videos will skip again. You will know that you have completed it when the Continue option is enabled, in addition to the trophies that will be unlocked.
