Offers: Resident Evil saga, half price on Nintendo Switch (eShop)

Capcom downgrades all installments of the saga available on the hybrid console temporarily. 50% discounts, half price only a few days.

Capcom has temporarily downgraded all Resident Evil releases currently available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. For just a few days, the 7 titles of the most successful license of the company are discounted from 50% to 57% compared to their usual price; that is, minimum at half price.

According to the eShop tab for each title (we leave a direct link to each of them below), the promotion ends on June 18, so there is still room for those of you who may be undecided.

Capcom has a prepared announcement about Resident Evil

We recall that Capcom has an announcement prepared around June 10 related to Resident Evil. For now, no further details have emerged, but players enrolled in the Resident Evil Ambassador program have already been notified. It is unknown if it could be the revelation of a new installment (Claire's voice actress is already working on a new title) or the remake of one of the most beloved games in the series, such as Resident Evil 4. What is certain is that Capcom is already working on new remakes; although they did not indicate what licenses.

If the community of FreeGameTips depended, the chosen one for a future remake is not Resident Evil 4 but Resident Evil Code: Veronica. This week we learned that Capcom will take advantage of the commercial potential of Resident Evil's 25th anniversary in 2021. The usual trend is to launch new games that coincide with the anniversary. We will soon leave doubts.
