Sebastien Ogier will pair with former co‑driver Julien Ingrassia for this weekend’s Rally Finland, as Vincent Landais pulls out for personal reasons.
Ogier, Ingrassia to rally in Finland
Ogier, the reigning world champion, confirmed that Ingrassia—his regular partner from 2014 until 2021—will re‑take the co‑driver’s seat after Landais cannot join the rally. Ingrassia stepped away from the cockpit last year following the pair’s eighth World Rally Championship title in Toyotalicious 2021.
Landais, who had served as Ogier’s co‑driver since Rally Japan 2022, has not been able to participate this week. Ogier praised the move: “I’m happy to have my old friend Julien back to support the team,” he posted in a short video.
Championship context and Ingrassia’s return
Olier currently sits fourth in the drivers’ standings, trailing leader Elfyn Evans by 38 points.
Ingrassia’s return marks his first WRC event since the 2021 Rally Monza, where the duo clinched the championship on their final stage. The Belgian has since turned to a broadcasting role with WRC and Canal+, while helping launch the World Rally Drivers Alliance—a body mirroring Formula 1’s drivers’ union and instrumental in challenging FIA penalties for stage‑end swearing.
“Returning to the stages in Finland will be a challenge, but I’m thrilled to work with Seb again and help Vincent and the team,” Ingrassia said ahead of the rally.
With a match‑winner in their arsenal and a tight championship race, the reunited driver–co‑driver pair set their sights on delivering a strong performance as the Finnish gravel tests their synergy once more.
