Epic Games has inserted a symbolic tree into Chapter 7 Season 3 that signals Olivia Rodrigo’s upcoming presence in the Fortnite Item Shop, igniting widespread speculation among players.
Subtle Clues Point to a Star‑Studded Drop
The new tree hosts a knife thrust into its bark, mirroring the design on Rodrigo’s latest album cover, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love.” A swing extends from the tree, echoing the alternate cover that features a swing, further confirming a teaser of the collaboration.
Festival Timing Limits the Scope of the Partnership
Olivia Rodrigo is unlikely to headline the current Fortnite Festival, which runs until July 29, 2026. Instead, the partnership appears to focus on an Item‑Shop skin, with no Festival Pass included. This aligns with the half‑completed season and the passive nature of the current updates.
Fans Can Look Forward to Music‑Focused Content
Even without full Festival inclusion, players may receive Rodrigo’s most popular tracks as Jam Tracks and Fortnite Moments, providing a soundtrack experience within the Battle Royale island.
With the potential item acquisition approaching, players should stay tuned to confirm the singer’s official Fortnite entry before the next update rolls out.
