The video game industry, pending the state of the coronavirus

It is not the first video game company to echo, in one way or another, this virus, which has currently killed 170 people and infected about 7,800. The developers of Plague Inc., the virtual pandemic simulator, warned days ago about the fictional relationship that exists with the diseases represented in the game and what happens in real life: the video game does not capture any scientific reality, like any original work fictional.

Apart from this disease, Blizzard continues to work on his next major project related to this intellectual property, Overwatch 2, which will be “a complete experience” by including a PvE campaign mode that will not feel like a short or unfinished experience, but that the game aims to be a sequel with all the guarantees. This story mode will explore the lore of the saga in several ways. Overwatch 2 is in development for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, but has no release date.
