Paper Beast, from the creator of Another World, announces its release date in a trailer

The game is developed exclusively for PlayStation VR, the virtual reality cases of the Sony console.

Paper Beast already has a release date. This was announced by Pixel Reef through a press release, which has been accompanied by a new trailer, which you can see on these lines. The game directed by Eric Chahi, father of video games like Another World, Heart of Darkness or From Dust, is designed for PlayStation VR and will go on sale on March 24 exclusively for PlayStation 4.

It is a dream journey that moves the player to a simulator created from Internet data. Within this artificial world, the connections form creatures of the most diverse and exotic, in addition to mysteries that the player must unravel interacting with the environment and solving all kinds of puzzles. Its conception as a virtual reality game allows us to experiment with the scenarios and understand the universe of Paper Beast through interaction. The developers promise that "collaboration with life will help players shape the environment."

Two game modes

The new title of Pixel Reef offers two different game modes: on the one hand, an adventure mode in which the user will explore the world; on the other, a sandbox mode designed for the player to experiment with all the mechanics offered by the game. This last game mode will invite us to behave like a god, because we can sculpt the lands, modify the atmospheric conditions and interact with the fauna and flora of the world. The consequences of the actions will be calculated in real time thanks to the Paper Beast physics engine.

Paper Beast has been under development for at least three years, but the State of Play was recently announced during which Resident Evil 3 Remake was also confirmed, a game that had previously been leaked. Before the city of Raccoon City falls prey to the zombie virus, the artificial world created by Pixel Reef will take us to a completely different universe.
