April 1, the day PlatinumGames had in mind to offer information about one of its new projects; April 1, April Fool's Day in some countries. And for the innocent, the players and the press, who have fallen into the April's Fools' trap. Indeed, the new Platinum 4 is a joke, it does not exist. The studio has put on the troll mask and revealed a fictional collaboration and a product that will not succeed. The company has posted a trailer, which you can see on these lines.
The joke announces a collaboration with HAMSTER Corporation, as well as a new joint project, Sol Cresta. Neither the crest to the rooster nor the sky to the sun, none of this is real. The company has video games like Bayonetta 3 or Babylon's Fall in development, which it designs together with Nintendo and Square Enix, respectively. As for their own video games, The Wonderful 101 Remastered and Project G.G. are the two confirmed titles. The latter will close the hero trilogy, to which Viewtiful Joe also belongs.

"You would be a fool if you missed the trailer"
Through Twitter, the studio has written the following. “You have waited so long and it is finally here. What better day than April 1 to unveil the expected fourth PlatinumGames announcement. You would be a fool if you missed the trailer. ” It is already known, nothing to go to Hideki Kamiya's Twitter account, at the risk of being blocked by the director of Bayonetta.
