Play PUBG for free on Steam until June 8

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is free on Steam between June 4-8, allowing any player to enjoy the famous Battle Royale.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, PUBG for Friends, has confirmed that its Steam version will be completely free this weekend, allowing any user of the Valve store to try the shooter, one of the great architects of the Battle Royale phenomenon. PUBG will be available to everyone until June 8 at 7:00 p.m. (Spanish local time) and will not have any type of restriction or cut content. In addition, during these days the title will also be available at half price and can be purchased for 14.99 euros. All the rewards, achievements and experiences that we get during the free trial will be saved and we can pass them to the game in case we decide to get hold of it.

This is PUBG season 7

This initiative allows us to test the seventh season of the game, which came just a few weeks ago. In it, some of the maps have been redesigned (such as the case of Vikendi and Dinoland) and several important novelties have been included, among which the presence of trains that cover the entire map and that allow us to move around it is highlighted. Season 7 also incorporates a new season pass, Survivor Pass: Cold Front, which brings over 100 different cosmetic items to unlock.

A few months ago at FreeGameTips we analyzed the reasons for the success of Battle Royale, a genre in which PUBG competes against you with titans like Fortnite and Apex Legends. As if that were not enough merit, PUBG is developed by a single person, Brendan Greene, and has managed to not only stand up to its rivals, but also get ahead of them and, in fact, be the mobile game that bills the most money. These free game days are the best of opportunities to get up close to the phenomenon and the virtues of one of its greatest exponents.
