Sony has closed its own merchandise shop on PlayStation, as is now surprisingly found. The shop was basically quite new and offered all kinds of merchandise items for own and third-party games.
If you visit the shop now, you only get the following message:
Why Sony has closed the shop is not known. But one assures that one will still deliver all open orders. It was probably just not worth it, especially since you can now get the same merchandise everywhere.
