PlayStation Plus – the equivalent of games decreased in 2019, that was how much the premium service was worth

Playfront

There have been major changes to PlayStation Plus this year and the service has been a little squeezed. It is now only available for PlayStation 4, which at the same time pulled the equivalent of games down.

Previously, games for the equivalent of EUR 60 for the PlayStation Plus subscription, which were now EUR 60 a year, had been worth only EUR 800 this year (as of the time of publication).

The average metascore rose to 8.1, which should also have something to do with the fact that since March there were only PS4 games that were often rated higher than games on the PS3 and PS Vita before.

Overall, the PlayStation Plus line-up this year included the following games:

  • Amplitude (PS3)
  • Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (PS Vita)
  • Portal Knights (PS4)
  • Steep (PS4)
  • Super Mutant Alien Assault (PS Vita)
  • Zone of the Enders HD Collection (PS3)
  • Divekick (PS3)
  • For Honor (PS4)
  • Gunhouse (PS Vita)
  • Hitman: The Complete First Season (PS4)
  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3)
  • Rogue Aces (PS Vita)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered
  • The Witness
  • Conan Exiles
  • The Surge
  • Overcooked!
  • What Remains of Edith Finch
  • Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
  • Sonic Mania
  • Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition
  • Horizon Chase Turbo
  • Sniper Elite 4
  • Wipeout Omega Collection
  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Darksiders 3
  • MLB The Show 19
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • NIOH
  • Outlast 2
  • Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame
  • Titan case 2

It should not be forgotten that the service includes online storage, various discounts, online functionality and other promotions. Overall, a decent offer, with something for everyone. Sony is also the publisher that provided the most games for PlayStation Plus, followed by Ubisoft and Konami.
