Pokémon GO – League Fights GO
Three different leagues in the GO Fighting League: how it will work
Regardless of the premiere date of Season 1, we already know what the operating methodology of the GO Fighting League will be like, whose last stage of the preseason (Super Ball League) will take place from this March 5 to Friday March 13 . Once Season 1 starts, we can choose between the Super Ball League (up to 1500 CP), Ultra Ball League (up to 2500 CP) or the Master Ball League (no CP limit), same segmentation as in PvE mode; each of them with its own CP characteristics.
But what is the GO Fighting League? As much as we have explained in the past, Niantic has finally defined this new game mode like this: “The GO Fighting League encourages players to go out and explore the world with their Pokémon. You will be able to walk to enter the GO Fighting League and face opponents from all corners of the world through an online pairing system, in order to increase rank in the league itself. ”
News and rewards from Season 1 of the GO Fighting League
From Niantic they are adjusting the rewards of the Liga Combates GO, which will be fully determined soon. Depending on the range we have, we will receive more or less Stardust and a number to be determined from MT of fast attacks and MT from charged movements. Victories are more important than ever. At the present time, ranks 2 and 3 will require winning a certain number of combats in order to advance to the next; while before the victories only mattered once we reached rank 4.
-
Metagross will be the first guaranteed meeting prize in Season 1.
- If we are in rank 4, Beldum will be the reward.
- In rank 7, the reward will be an encounter with Rufflet.
- Finally, Pikachu Libre (Masked) will arrive for the first time as a guaranteed meeting reward when we reach rank 10; in the future it will be seen in lower ranks.
In addition, the reward for reaching rank 10 is increased, as they will distribute items for the avatar with a pose inspired by Maximum (Pokémon League Champion of the Hoenn region). Also, once Season 1 of the GO Fighting League ends, elite loaded MT attacks will be distributed if we have reached rank 7.
