Niantic introduces new ways to access the game from the handle with this limited series of tests. We know all the details of both.
The Pokémon Company and Ninantic have announced two new features for Pokémon GO that they will test throughout this summer in their attempt to adapt the gameplay of the title to all kinds of situations, including when we are at home: guaranteed daily Pokémon encounters and Free Packs Daily. Let’s take a look at both of them to understand what it’s all about
Guaranteed daily Pokémon encounters
This first feature will allow a limited group of Trainers (presumably Level 40 at first) to receive a new encounter from Professor Willow, who has been working on a new type of Special Incense. This incense will not appear in the Bag, but will be activated when Willow gives it to us and will allow other Pokémon around us to approach our location once a day: just for us. In this way, everyone can enjoy a daily incense no matter where they are. The difference with the rest of incenses is that this will be individual, it will not affect the rest of the players.
Free Daily Packs in the store
Unlike today, all Trainers will soon receive a free pack of items every day in the store. Those who are part of the test, just tap on Store to see a notification under the name of Free Daily Pack. We currently do not know what objects it will include, but it is confirmed that it will be every day when we can access this lot. “Always pay attention to your environment and abide by the rules of the local health authorities when playing Pokémon GO,” they end up saying.
If you’re in a situation where, for whatever reason, you can’t leave your home, these two new Pokémon GO features will ensure two things: daily encounters with Pokémon and a selection of items.
