We tell you all about the Pokémon GO Carnival Event, which will be held these days of February in various Latin American territories.

Even though Valentine’s Day has already ended, we can expect to find a good number of new events in titles like Pokémon GO, active and constantly evolving throughout the year. In fact, one of the newest things we know about is the fact that March’s Community Day will feature Fletching. What brings us together on this occasion is the Carnival Event, which will be held in various regions of Latin America. We will tell you all about it below, since despite not being able to celebrate carnival directly and in the streets, you can do it surrounded by Pokémon via digital.

Pokémon GO carnival event dates and times

  • Date and time of the event: from Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. until Friday, February 19 at 8:00 p.m. (local time).
  • Hours of February 18: from 6:00 p.m. at 7:00 p.m. local time, a Raid Hour will take place with Kricketot as the featured Pokémon. If we’re lucky, we might find a shiny one.
  • Hours of February 19: from 6:00 p.m. at 7:00 p.m. local time, don’t let the party die with a Raid Hour from Emolga, the Pokémon Vuelardilla.
  • Regions: this event will take place exclusively in the following regions: Latin America and the Caribbean (Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Dominica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela).

All the details of the Pokémon GO carnival event

  • Pokémon that represent the festive spirit of Carnival and some of its traditions, such as music and happiness, will be more frequently drawn to Incense, including Diglett, Jigglypuff, Hitmontop, Torchic, Lotad, Kricketot, Bronzor, Munna, and Emolga.
  • With any luck, we can find a Shiny Jigglypuff.
  • During this event, the duration of the Incense will be three hours.
  • During the event, if we visit the store we will be able to find a package of free items redeemable only once that includes 50 Poké Balls, 2 Incenses, 10 Frambu Berries and a Remote Raid Pass.
