Pokémon GO: guide for Community Day February 2021 (Roselia)

We review all the details to get the most out of Community Day this February in Pokémon GO. Roserade will be able to learn Meteorball.

Pokémon GO February 2021 Community Day is here. The month in which the 25th anniversary of the saga will be celebrated will also be the month of Roselia, the main protagonist of the second Community Day of this year. As has been a tradition for years in FreeGameTips, it is time to take note to make the most of this monthly meeting, so we bring you a guide with all the information and recommendations so that you can find your perfect Roserade with exclusive movement.

February 2021 Community Day; date, time and bonus

Few novelties in structure and methodology, to tell the truth. The February 2021 Pokémon GO Community Day dedicated to Roselia will take place this Sunday, February 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time; a total of six hours of duration so that everyone, regardless of the hemisphere, can adapt the hours that best suit them and thus avoid both cold and heat. It is even possible to play from home if your area has mobility restrictions due to COVID (free daily pack plus the use of incenses to attract creatures to your area).

Exclusive movement for Roserade: Meteorball (Fire type)

It will be in those hours when Roselia will appear in the wild much more frequently than usual; if we are lucky, we may meet this original 3rd generation creature (Hoenn) in shiny / variocolor form. One of the cool things about Community Days is that the evolved form of the main Pokémon learns a unique move. In this case, Roserade will learn the Meteorball charged attack (Fire type), which of course this Plant type species does not learn under normal conditions. Likewise, also the Recurring fast attack.

  • Evolve Budew to Roselia – 25 candies
  • Evolve Roselia to Roserade – 100 Candy + Sinnoh Stone
  • During the Community Day we can get Budew in the 2 km Eggs

On the other hand, this Sunday we will have an exclusive temporary investigation of the event with which we can win Sinnoh Stones, an unavoidable item to evolve from Roselia to Roserade. There will also be a special Roselia Community Day Community Day Pack available for 1280 PokéCoins, featuring an elite fast attack TM, four Incense, four Super Incubators, and 30 Ultra Balls.

No less important is that Budew – Roselia’s previous form – will appear in the 2km Eggs during the event. And speaking of Pokémon Eggs, during this Community Day we will have two bonuses: the incense will last three hours (180 minutes) and the distance to hatch when putting Eggs in the incubators will be a quarter of a distance.

Recommendations for Community Day February 2021

One of the recommendations that cannot be missing in our guides is that you collect many objects during the days prior to the celebration of Community Day, a way not to accuse a lack of potions, Poké Ball or Berries this Sunday. In the same way, we recommend that you have incense (to attract as many Pokémon as possible to your range) and that you have both Pinia Berry and Silver Pinia Berry – more candy than normal per catch. With these candies it will be easier to evolve our Roselia to Roserade.

For its part, it is recommended that if you get a Roselia with good genetics, you put it as a partner so that it can win candies and friendship. The use of Ultra Ball is the most recommended due to its higher capture ratio; and, in case of difficulty, Berries Frambu to facilitate the capture. If you are looking to increase your experience points, a Lucky Egg as soon as you start playing on Community Day this February will be a guarantee.

Good luck to everyone in the search for a Roselia shiny Full IVs.
